We were grateful to be invited to our first India Summit this year by Tim Jordon. The Summit was a 2-day event with unique learning and growth opportunities. It was intriguing to see how Amazon is working to build sellers in India.
This conference was unique due to the calibre of sellers. We noted that there were more manufacturers here than at previous summits, This means that sellers made their products rather than outsourcing.
It was thought-provoking to see the difference in Amazon’s involvement with sellers here compared to the UK. Sellers here can access Amazon DSP at a much lower rate, looking at 1-2 thousand a month!
The India Summit had a more formal atmosphere compared to previous events. Rather than having long periods of open conversation, there was a greater focus on learning and getting down to business.
It was jam-packed with informative talks from a variety of speakers, such as Nishima Kaler, Sammy Akhtar, and Chris Thomas.
Chris Thomas gave an illuminating talk about his journey as a seller and taught us about using niche keywords. Our founder George Meressa also spoke about how to utilise the tools and strategy regarding Amazon PPC.
